Role Summary

CHC Helicopter Service AS is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Support candidate to join our Operations Control Centre (OCC) team based at Sola.

 

The Customer Support role plays a key role in planning and coordinating flight operations, facilitating communication between internal departments, and maintaining close customer relationships. This position is ideal for a versatile and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic operational environment with a strong focus on safety, service excellence, and operational efficiency.

 

As part of the recruitment process, shortlisted candidates will be required to complete personality and aptitude assessments.

  • Deliver high-quality customer service and act as a primary point of contact for clients.
  • Plan, coordinate, monitor, and control the daily flight programme, ensuring the highest standards of safety and punctuality.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination across operational departments.
  • Contribute actively to process, system, and operational improvements.
  • Support fleet and crew utilisation and optimisation.
  • Participate in customer meetings during both implementation and operational phases, as required.
  • Perform other duties relevant to the role and area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Higher education in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Aviation, Logistics, or a related discipline. Extensive relevant industry experience may compensate for a lack of formal qualifications.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, operations, or a similar coordinating role.

 

Desirable

  • Experience within the aviation industry is an advantage.

 

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective customer and stakeholder relationships.

 

Personal Attributes

  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, accountable, and committed to transparency.
