Role Summary

Contract Manager

Location: Sola (Stavanger), on-site

Full-time, Permanent

 

The CHC Contract Manager will be responsible for the overall satisfaction and health of CHC operations and communication to the customer. This position guarantees the needs of the customer are met through management of contracts, key individuals, and processes while developing and closely fostering communications at all required levels. Contract administration and refining processing to improve performance for CHC is a must while developing measures and driving improvements within customer support. This individual will drive change and improvement for all CHC related needs to ensure customer satisfaction is balanced through enforcing processes as required.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Development and Review 

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure alignment with legal, regulatory, and company requirements. Support the development of contract frameworks and templates. 

 

Risk Identification and Mitigation 

Identify contractual risks and exposure areas and develop mitigation strategies to protect commercial and operational interests. 

 

Stakeholder Coordination 

Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Procurement to ensure alignment on contract terms and obligations. 

 

Supplier and Client Management 

Act as the primary point of contact for contractual matters and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and clients. 

 

Compliance Monitoring 

Ensure all contracts comply with CHC policies, industry standards, and applicable legislation. 

 

Contract Lifecycle Management 

Manage contract execution, amendments, renewals, and expirations ensuring timely actions. 

 

Documentation and Recordkeeping 

Maintain accurate contract records including approvals, correspondence, and version control. 

 

Performance Tracking and Reporting 

Monitor KPIs and provide regular reports to management, including maintaining performance scorecards. 

 

Dispute Resolution Support 

Assist in resolving contractual disputes and collaborate with legal counsel where needed. 

 

Process Improvement 

Drive improvements in contract management processes, templates, and workflows.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Law or related field is required

  • 8- 10+ years of experience in contract management or commercial operations

  • Strategic customer support management experience 

  • Experience in successfully managing in a global environment

  • Relationship Management experience
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills with proven negotiation experience.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Self motivated and results oriented with a focus on quality

  • Expert in MS office suite

  • Excellent collaborative problem solving skills

  • Ability to strategically lead and manage in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral formats, at a professional standard
  • Must have legal right to reside and work in Norway
