Role Summary

The Part CAMO Manager is the Nominated Person PART CAMO and reports to the Accountable Manager on AOC compliance matters and to the Head of Engineering & Supply Chain on any other matters.

The Part CAMO Manager is responsible for the continued airworthiness of CHC HS’s fleet of aircraft, satisfying the requirements set by the relevant aviation authorities, applicable law, customers and CHC HS, against optimum cost and efficiency.

 

As a leader and role model you will direct, develop and motivate a skilled team in Norway. With your leadership, we will deliver a world-class professional engineering operation managing the Continuing Airworthiness and Maintenance requirements for CHC Helikopter Service AOC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure regulatory, customer and company compliance at all times ensuring it meets the standards required by EASA, NCAA and CHC
  • Responsible for the continuing airworthiness of the fleet and safe execution of maintenance at all times
  • Responsible for the safe, available aircraft for the business needs ensuring on time departure
  • Leadership of an engaged workforce
  • Ensuring that the necessary resources are available
  • Coaching and mentoring of the workforce to develop high performance
  • Identification of training requirements
  • Ensure robust planning of maintenance to minimise operational impact
  • Timely execution of scheduled maintenance to deliver aircraft to the operation
  • Work closely with supply chain to ensure all parts, tooling etc. are ordered and managed in suitable time
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies.
  • Communicating internally and externally to ensure all stakeholders are informed
  • Manage labour costs in line with budgeted assumptions
  • Manage and achieve all company KPI’s

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Required Qualifications (Education, Qualifications, Certifications)

‐        Essential

o   Strong working knowledge of EASA regulations

o   Deep understanding of safety standards and regulations

o   Extensive technical knowledge of best practices and standards of maintenance execution

 

‐        Desirable

o   Have a relevant engineering degree or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with additional education acceptable to the competent authority

o   The above recommendation may be replaced by additional experience. The additional must include experience in tasks related to aircraft maintenance and/or continuing airworthiness management and/or surveillance of such tasks

o   Working knowledge of AMOS Maintenance Systems

o   Professional working proficiency in Norwegian and English language
