Role Summary

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager (Part 145 post holder).

Primary function:

As a leader and role model you will direct, develop and motivate a skilled team in Den Helder. With your leadership, they’ll deliver a world-class professional engineering and maintenance operation managing the Maintenance for CHC Netherlands 145 Organisation.

You will also champion collaboration across the whole of our business. You will work with the Operations Director NL to improve, standardise and implement processes and procedures across CHC. Every day, you will deliver the highest levels of performance - from quality standards to customer satisfaction and commercial objectives. Safety will be a priority. You’ll promote and maintain safe, secure work practices and housekeeping. In everything your team does, you will strive for continuous improvement and the most efficient use of resources. You’ll inspire and support your team to constantly improve. In addition to the strong bond you have with your people, you’ll forge excellent working relationships with stakeholders, partners, trade unions and customers.

You will demonstrate a proven ability to identify, lead and empower change in a complex operational environment within a multi-site operation. You will require to have both technical engineering and leadership qualifications. Demonstrate strong working knowledge of engineering systems and processes, health and safety legislation and practice, and team management. Your excellent communication skills and ability to engage and influence others will really set you apart.

This position is based in the Netherlands. However, we will consider performing this role from another location within Europe. Please note that regular travel to the Netherlands will be required for part of each month, depending on business needs and team collaboration requirements.

Key Responsibilities

·  Leadership of an engaged workforce

·  Ensure regulatory, customer and company compliance at all times and at all levels

·  Drive continuous improvement

·  Responsible for the safe execution of maintenance at all times and that it meets the standards required by EASA, CAA-NL and CHC

·  Ensuring that the necessary resources are available

·  Responsible for the safe, available aircraft for the business needs ensuring on time departure

·  Coaching and mentoring of the workforce and develop high performance

·  Timely execution of scheduled maintenance

·  Work closely with supply chain to ensure all parts, tooling etc. are ordered and managed in good time

·  Manage and achieve all company KPI's

·  Manage Labour Costs and in line with Budgeted Assumptions

·  Identification of training requirements

·  Business trips will take up to 50% of your time.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

·  Able to hold Part 145 Post Holder Position

·  Clear leadership and management training and skills

·  Working knowledge of EASA regulations

·  Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations

·  Customer focused

·  Licensed helicopter engineer preferred

·  Technical knowledge of best practices and standards for Maintenance Execution

·  Strong Organisational Skills.

·  Effective communicator, highly credible with strong interpersonal skills.

·  Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills.

·  Preferably a working knowledge of AMOS Maintenance Systems.

·  Be able to deliver to targets and deadlines within the department

·  Be able to work in a pressured environment on a daily basis

 

Other:

Must have legal right to live and work in Netherlands.

Fluent spoken and written English.

Knowledge of Dutch will be an asset.
