Role Summary

Heli-One has an exciting open position as Senior Commercial Specialist located at Sola reporting to Head of Commercial.

 

In this role you will lead the company’s response to tenders and opportunities by coordinating all relevant stakeholders to define the support concept and combining their respective inputs to produce successful proposals in

response to opportunities identified by the Global Sales team. Heli-One has a Global footprint and customers are represented from all continents from the private, governmental and military sector.

 

You will prepare and build complex cost models and proposals within company guidelines. The role will lead or support as required, bid kick-off, bid review and approval meetings with relevant stakeholders

during proposal preparation and tender phase.

 

The role will also be responsible for leading commercial standards in Heli-One.

 

You will, together with Legal, establish, update, control and distribute all global commercial procedures, terms and conditions and policies. In addition,  manage compliance of local sites and ensure that

commercial templates and agreements are in compliance with Heli-One policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage agent and channel partner agreements through the Global Sales Directors to ensure continued validity, compliance and profitability. 
  • Support our commercial teams in Norway, Poland and Canada as required including preparation of bids during peak demand.
  • Act as a focal point for bids that span more than one production site to ensure a consistent approach and presentation to the end customer.
  • Provide active oversight of complex large bids to ensure H1 competitiveness and consistent execution of commercial policy.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • A university Degree in Business Administration and/or Finance and/or Management/Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably commercial/finance experience.
  • Experience with financial modelling and pricing strategy.
  • Experience in a MRO/manufacturing environment, with a proven management track record.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on quality.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills in Norwegian and English.
  • Excellent collaborative problem solving skills with an ability to implement solutions.
  • Ability to strategically lead in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
