Role Summary

The CAMO Maintenance Planner fulfils the planning function for the operation, by planning short and long term maintenance, they issue, work packages and Scope of Work for all maintenance inputs. They liaise with the Maintenance Organisation and Supply Chain Organisation to ensure that all manpower and spare parts requirements are met prior to starting a maintenance input.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance with Part CAMO or local equivalents, CAME, Work Instructions and all relevant Safety & Quality requirements to ensure the highest standards of their work.
  • Liaise with post-holders to develop, refine and produce accurate and timely Scheduled Maintenance work scopes for base maintenance.
  • Control, manage and coordinate all manpower requirements for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Creation of Maintenance Work Packs for Scheduled Inputs from AMOS.
  • Control of the deferred defect Database from AMOS and issuing of Weekly KPI Reports for the Fleet.
  • Liaising with the Regional Material Co-Ordinators (RMCs) on all parts required from the AMOS System to ensure timely procurement of parts within scheduled deadlines.
  • Analysing Reports within AMOS daily/weekly and as required.
  • Production of 4 Week / 12 Week & Yearly Plans for all local Fleets & Distributing and monitoring accordingly.
  • Monitor utilisation across the local fleet of applicable aircraft in conjunction with MSC Planning.
  • Support the Component Planning Process with plans and improvement in conjunction with the Regional Materials Co-Ordinators (RMCs).
  • Plus may perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • Experience of planning maintenance in aviation or other technical industry
  • Understanding of technical documentation
  • Experience of liaising with other departments to ensure collaboration and management of expectations.
  • Familiarity of using ERP systems to plan maintenance
  • Familiarity with MS Office software
  • Completes assigned tasks on time, complying with policies, procedures, and work requirements.
  • Focus on execution, accuracy, and immediate goals.
  • Follows organisational policies and procedures.
