Role Summary

CHC Helicopter is seeking a dynamic Sr. Contract Manager to drive cost reduction and enhance efficiency for the Bell and Sikorsky fleet. This pivotal role involves overseeing all Bell, GE, PWC, and Sikorsky contracts, optimizing procurement options, and implementing innovative sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping procurement initiatives and fostering quality-driven practices in collaboration with Heli-One MRO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in strategic Aircraft Bids for the CHC Fleet to drive expansion and innovation in aviation operations
  • Contract, maintain, and manage support contracts 
  • Contract and Maintain License Agreements
  • Conduct spend analytics; manipulate multiple data streams to support sourcing strategy development; able to look across teams and functions to ensure the full “global” opportunity is addressed for the CHC and Heli-One brand
  • Design and implement RFPs, including supplier engagement and bid analysis
  • Play a key role in implementing new contracts, including the development of price books
  • Lead negotiations, execute contracts, and manage relationships to achieve targets
  • Escalate critical orders to support aircraft return to service
  • Tracking of cost saving initiatives
  • Manage multiple projects for company initiatives under the direction of the Director or VP of Supply Chain
  • Motivate and inspire team members by creating an environment focused on trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive teamwork 

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

EDUCATION:

  • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field required
  • Engineering background

EXPERIENCE: 

  • A minimum of 3+ years relevant experience within a global environment (i.e. logistics supply chain, accounting, economics, financial analysis)  
  • A minimum 3+ years' experience in aviation
  • Contracting skills; ability to work with and assign teams
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional communication abilities
  • Understanding of Bell and Sikorsky Fleet and Engines 
  • Proficient in data handling, analysis, and Microsoft
  • Familiarity with aviation vendors a plus (Bell, Sikorsky, Pratt Whitney etc...)

CERTIFICATIONS/SKILLS:    

  • Proficiency in Business English (Communication, email) is essential
  • High communication/Negotiation/Collaboration skills with internal /external stakeholders
  • Effective stakeholder management
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills  
  • Strong organizational skills and leadership
  • Project management skills 
  • Strong Business English, French may be a plus
