Role Summary

CHC Helikopter Services, Norway have an exciting opportunity for a new Technical records administrator to join our team at Stavanger, Norway. 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic organisation in a very rewarding area of aviation.

The Technical records administrator is a crucial support role for the company, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of data.

 

The role will report to the Part CAMO Manager.

 

It is mandatory for the successful candidates to be able to get police declaration to work within the secure area of an airport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure meticulous accuracy of aviation maintenance compliance data in logbooks and technical records applications
  • Updating and correcting aviation technical records as needed
  • Organize and maintain detailed filing of aviation technical records.
  • Maintaining the archive of technical records
  • Updating, checking and correcting the training records of technical services, maintenance planning and technical records
  • Follow-up on discrepancies and errors to ensure accuracy
  • Review and process airworthiness records for received or returned rotables
  • Work in accordance with company policy and procedures

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

 

Required Qualifications

Essential:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation maintenance or technical support role with expertise in technical records management

 

Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge of aircraft types gained through formal training, at least equivalent to Part-66 appendix III level 1 general familiarisation
  • Demonstrated expertise in aviation technical records management principles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in human factors and human performance principles relevant to the role within the organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English for aviation technical records management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and good understanding of IT tools and systems
