Role Summary

CHC Helikopter Service has an open position as Operations Supervisor. The position will report to Contract Operations Manager (COM) and will be an integral part of the CHC Operations Control Centre (OCC).

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Operations Supervisor:

  • Support COM and act as Deputy COM

  • Team leader – direct reports

  • Take active part in execution and supervision of the daily flight program

  • Fleet- and crew optimization

  • Good understanding of client contracts and requirements, as relevant to OCC

  • Performance reporting, including delays, penalties and buyback

  • Prepare and participate in internal and external operations reviews

  • Have an active role in operational meetings with clients

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives relevant to OCC

  • Customer coordination

  • Planning, execution, supervision, and control of the daily flight program

  • Cross-department coordination as relevant

  • Billing control

  • Crew cost control

  • Tracking delays, penalties, and buyback

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Required Qualifications (Education, Qualifications, Certifications)

  • Higher relevant education

  • 5 years’ experience from logistics operations or other relevant experience

  • Leadership experience

  • Strong communication skills written and oral in Norwegian and English

  • Able to handle multiple tasks in a hectic environment

  • Strong computer skills in basic MS Office applications

  • Operational focus

  • Cost control

 

Desirable

  • Experience from the aviation industry

 

Skills/Experience: Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, both verbal and written

  • Excellent computer skills, and able to take ownership and implement new systems and processes

  • Change agent and drive improvement projects and processes

  • Ability to strategically lead and manage in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment

  • Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English
