Role Summary
To accurately account for all movements of all a/c spares in and out of warehouse (direct), and indirect spares., while working as an integrated part of the operations in Norway
Key Responsibilities
Process inbound/outbound orders to / from base to/from vendors, other Heli-One facilities or CHC bases, including a quality check of the parts & paperwork in question unpack, repack, pack parts to aviation packing guidelines on handling & packing aviation parts including Electro Static Discharge and Dangerous Goods handling and prepare shipments & shipping documentation.
Receiving of spares, ensure compliance with CAA regulations and company procedures/Part 145 Regulations
Complete orders by selecting goods from shelves & issue parts to engineers on the base.
Liaise with Base Engineers and Material Coordinator on parts requirements
Process the return of goods back to stock.
Count and record the number of spares in store during annual stock count, ensure that they are completed in time for finical year-end, and accountable for inventory accuracy
Binning/replenishing shelves.
Update AMOS as necessary.
Responsible for running and maintaining the daily stores function for SV/US spares
Local travel may be required
Chase / track inbound shipments to the base, and update AMOS
Prepared & willing to work outside the normal working hours if the operation at the base requires them to, in Aircraft on Ground situations for example.
May perform other duties as assigned by Management
Perform Compliance Monitoring on SC processes and support other bases in Country
Engage with local forwarders on best options for shipment of spares in Country
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
Organized and detail oriented with proven accuracy and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Used to work on their own with little direct supervision
Able to handle themselves and perform their assigned duties in stressful & critical situations
Strong customer service orientation
1-2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred
Working in an Aviation Environment
Forklift license will be a benefit
Computer literate
Desirable:
AMOS knowledge an asset
1-2 years handling aviation related parts, preferred
Knowledge of CASA regulations, familiarity with EASA / FAA / TCCA regulations would be an advantage
Dangerous goods handling , Electro Static Discharge handling training, preferred Human Factors training or any other aviation related training welcomed
