Role Summary

CHC Helicopter Service AS has an exciting position available as Technical Project Manager for Part CAMO based in Sola.

We have many projects that we are working on for major maintenance and modification projects for our helicopters.

Key Responsibilities

For the person who will hold this position, we want them to have good knowledge of the following:

  • Education: Within Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience from aviation maintenance and modification work
  • Project knowledge
  • Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of EASA regulations
  • Affinity with computer applications
  • Ability to work in a structured and secure manner
  • Ability to prepare and write clear reports
  • Flexible attitude, ability to work under pressure
  • Familiarization course/skilled worker training for aircraft types would be an advantage
  • Experience and knowledge of the AMOS system an advantage

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

The position reports directly to the CAMO Manager and will have responsibility for driving projects forward by:

  • Having discussions with Part 21 organizations for design and follow-up of deliveries from them
  • Following up on kits and parts for projects he/she is responsible for
  • Providing financial inputs/updates to the cost controller
  • Making regular KPI/status reports for assigned projects
  • Responding to SQID reports assigned
  • Liaising with type engineers and designing proposed solutions
  • Assisting with tenders and getting design proposals with pricing from suppliers
  • Preparing AFE and proposing PO for ordering of work from third parties and internal work
  • Participating in planning and creation of SOW for work on aircraft controlled by Part CAMO
  • Performing required follow-up between Part CAMO and the responsible 145 organization, supply chain, and design organizations responsible for delivering parts and designs
