Role Summary

Production Planner
CHC Helikopter Services, Norway have an exciting opportunity for a Production planner
to come join our team base at Sola.
The Production Planner is responsible to coordinate the planning and execution of the
maintenance plan on their assigned bases. This is a full time position, giving the
successful candidate the opportunity to be part of a dynamic organisation in a very
rewarding area of aviation

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities includes, but are not limited to:

  • Key responsibilities includes, but are not limited to:
    Manage the execution of maintenance programs based on Part CAMO
    requirements and adaptation to the flight program and priority requirements
    for maintenance work at the respective maintenance location.
  • Manage the organisation, and continuity of the maintenance tasks in such a
    manner that parts and tools are always available, in addition to the
    resources to perform the maintenance, both planned and unplanned.
  • Planners are required to follow the procedures that are established in order
    to comply with the quality assurance requirements from customers and the
    authorities, in addition to the companies’ own requirements.
  • Ensure that parts, tools and approved maintenance data are available at
    work start.
  • Support the Maintenance Organisation in meeting its Safety objectives,
    which is to deliver all products and services to our customers in accordance
    with the order specifications.
  • Participate and coordinate meeting for detail planning of the helicopter
    maintenance tasks to be done following weekend.
  • Develop, implement and continuously maintain planning systems as
    needed.
  • Ensuring that non-conformity is identified and reported, in addition to the
    elimination of causes so as to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage non-conformances in accordance with SMM.
  • Support and participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as required to
    support the department's goals.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Qualification, skills and attributes:


• Min. 5 years of experience with maintenance planning, preferably from the
Aviation industry
• Experience using AMOS is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, verbal and written
• Excellent skills in planning systems and general good IT knowledge
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and work calmly under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to prioritise a heavy workload in a fast paced and changing environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills, collaboration skills and decision-making skills
• Strong financial understanding, and the ability to ensure cost-efficient planning
• Strong work ethic and enthusiasm with a can-do attitude and the ability to thrive
in a hectic work environment
• Organised and motivated individual who is able to work as part of a team and on
own initiative with excellent problem solving ability
