Role Summary

The Contract Manager (CM) will be responsible for the overall performance of CHC operations at the NAWSARH bases and communication with the customer and live up to and promote the Company Core Values Contract administration and refining processing to improve performance for CHC is a must, while developing measures and driving improvements within customer support. The CM will drive and implement change and improvements for all CHC related needs to ensure customer satisfaction is balanced between service level and CHC performance.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the focal point of contact with the Customer, both locally and centrally.
  • Responsible for the overall health of relations with customer while delicately balancing the needs of CHC.
  • Responsible for the day to day oversight for CHC operations at Svalbard and the Base North Contract. Further, the CM will ensure sufficient management presences at the base in Tromsø and must be prepared for minimum of a monthly travel to Tromsø. Also, the CM will ensure alignment and customer contact in relation to the NAWSARH base in Florø.
  • Must be proactive in resolving issues both internal and external.
  • Must be a change agent, process oriented, and focused on creating lean procedures to the mutual benefit of CHC and the
  • Liaise with various departments in order to prioritize customer needs balanced by company requirements through tactical execution.
  • Play an active role in the Senior Leadership Team in Norway
  • Own improvements to contract profitability by developing and implementing solutions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Own customer mid and long range forecasting of customer demand for flights and aircraft availability to facilitate CHC operational decisions.
  • Work afterhours as needed to support customers.
  • Ensure service commitments are met or exceeded
  • Scorecard and standardized process development is key to this function and ownership of said scorecard is required.
  • International travel may be required.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • Bachelor Degree in relevant field required and Master’s a plus
  • Experience – 5+ years relevant experience
  • Strategic customer support management experience is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills with proven negotiation experience
  • Self motivated and results oriented with a focus on quality
  • Relationship Management experience
  • Expert in MS office suite
  • Excellent collaborative problem solving skills
  • Ability to strategically lead and manage in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment
  • Experience in successfully managing in a global environment
