Role Summary

CHC Helikopter Services is now recruiting for an Operations Officer to come and join our Operations Control Centre (OCC) team at Sola base. The Operations Officer is responsible for operating the flight program, coordinate information between relevant departments as well as customer contact. The position requires a versatile person, who thrives in a dynamic work-environment with a high focus on safety.

It is required that the successful candidate is willing to undergo personality – and ability testing as a part of the interview process.

 

The interview process may commence throughout this process. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the execution, control and monitoring of the daily flight program with a high focus on safety and punctuality
  • Ensure that all crew members have the correct documentation and certification
  • Cross-department coordination to optimise operational delivery
  • Fleet-and crew optimisation
  • Keep ATC continually updated
  • Coordinating role in ERP
  • Client customer service
  • Any other relevant task within areas of responsibility

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Required Qualifications (Education, Qualifications, Certifications)

  • Higher education in relevant field (business administration, aviation, logistics). Extensive experience may compensate for the lack of formal education.
  • Min. 3 – 5 years of relevant experience from logistics operations

Desirable

  • Experience from the aviation industry is an advantage

Skills/Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills

  • Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills
