Role Summary

Heli-One is seeking a Technical Support Representative for one of our UK based Customer . This position is a regular full time position permanently based in Oxfordshire UK at customer’s facility; Benson Airfield. Employer CHC Scotia.

 

The Technical Support Representative will act as representatives for Heli-One (Norway) AS, and maintain customer relations, including technical advice and support in cooperation with Heli-One on-site Customer Support representative..

 

This is a key position within the team and requires strong service delivery focus.

Key Responsibilities

 

 

Responsibilities are:

 

  • Provide technical advice and support service on the Makila Engine
  • Be part of a 24/7 on call duty for technical advice and support
  • Conduct and participate in training of customers personnel as required
  • Give the customer on-hand assistance in technical related issues
  • Have direct contact with the various Heli-One departments, i.e. workshops and customer support
  • Contact with customers on a daily basis
  • Prepare and secure deliveries in accordance with customers maintenance plan
  • Conduct receiving control
  • Picking parts from local stock for delivery to customer
  • Perform logistic activities, hereunder warehousing and inventory control
  • Make assets ready for shipping by packing and dispatch control
  • Updating of documents, such as log cards
  • Assist Customer Support Office (CSO) with info for Supply profiles with monthly, quarterly reports /KPI`s
  • Perform tool control (Heli-One Property)at the base and eventually loaned to customer
  • Be back up for the CSO as required
  • Reporting
  • Attend meetings as required
  • International travel may be required
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • Technical background, including Makila engines maintenance experience.
  • Preferably, experience in customer service, supply chain or planning function.
  • Service minded, and able to perform under pressure in a hectic environment.
  • Knowledge in ERP systems  office programs.
  • Excellent communication and cooperation skills.
  • Excellent language skills (English)
  • Accurate, structured and independent.
  • Ability to adjust.
