    Role Summary

    We are recruit for a person to be doing planning and engineering support for the Part M organisation.   The person need to have good knowledge of aviation regulation, and aircraft maintenance.  The position will have personal responsibility, and report to the Part M postholder

    Key Responsibilities

     

    • Performing long term planning for the helicopter fleet
    • Create 12 months maintenance and component plans
    • Have overview of mandatory modification program
    • Have overview of customer modification program
    • Match in embodiment of modifications with scheduled maintenance
    • Staggering aircraft for the planned inspections
    • Track main components for long term planning and inform logistics of requirements
    • Supporting logistics functions with operations changes
    • Issue work orders to part 145
    • Planning projects on behalf of Part M
    • Keep update on progress in project in the department
    • Coordinator between planned inspections and part M department
    • Co-ordinate between 145 and Part M plans
    • Make cost calculations for modifications and seek approvals
    • Monitoring and update requests to the Part M department

    Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

    • 3 years’ experience in base maintenance environment on aircraft/helicopter.
    • Understanding the fundamentals of planning an aircraft inspection, and the financial implication of the actions introduced through planning
    • Knowledge of EASA regulations 1321/2014 and the AMC material
    • Human Factors in Aircraft Maintenance training
    • Fluent in English language (oral and written) at a level to clearly understand manufacturer’s approved data (manuals, Service Bulletins etc.) and organisation’s and operator’s documents
